Our Pastor
Pastor T. Will Fisher grew up in New Jersey about an hour from everything: New York City, Philadelphia, the Jersey Shore.  He received his B. A. in Spanish from Rutgers University, New Brunswick, NJ.
As a kid, he was at the church almost as much as he was at school. So, it was no surprise to most people when he left for Luther Seminary in St. Paul, Minnesota less than a week after graduating from college.  After a split internship, first in Gary, Indiana and then in Lily Lake, Illinois, Will realized God was calling him to ministry with youth and their families.  He returned to St. Paul and was accepted into the two-year Youth Leadership specialization.
In 1995 Will graduated and accepted his first call to Golden, IL, a small town of about 500, where he served both local ELCA congregations; one as solo pastor and the other as a part-time pastor of Youth and Family Ministry.  From there Will served several congregations in Texas before finally coming back to Illinois.
Will began serving as pastor of Faith in Brookfield in July of 2011.  As the pastoral needs of the congregation shifted, Will was able to return to graduate school for a Masters of Pastoral Counseling.  Currently, he serves Faith as pastor, focusing on worship and theology part-time.  Preaching has always been his favorite thing to do in ministry. He is also a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor working out of a private practice in the city.
Will has three grown children, Tristan, Andy, and Liam and a miniature dachshund, named Hendricks.  Outside of church and the therapy practice, Will loves life theatre: viewing, acting, or directing.
